Our Story: Why We Float Forward
Float Forward Foundation was born from love — the love of a family learning to see the world through a different lens. Inspired by our daughter River, who is on the autism spectrum, our journey began with a simple desire: to create spaces where every child feels seen, safe, and celebrated for exactly who they are.
What started as one family’s mission to understand and advocate for their child has grown into a movement to empower many. We believe that every child deserves the freedom to explore, express, and experience joy in their own way — and that families deserve the tools and community to support that journey.
At Float Forward, we don’t just raise awareness — we build experiences that spark understanding. From sensory-friendly events to creative learning spaces, we’re committed to helping children and families float forward together — one smile, one breakthrough, one moment of belonging at a time.
